Mar 3 Storytelling Workshop
We all have stories to tell. That’s the Third Goal of Peace Corps, to share with people back home the experiences from our service overseas. Beyond Borders Storytelling is hosting a storytelling workshop to help people turn those experiences into engaging stories. The workshop is open to anyone who has a story with an international twist, not just Returned Peace Corps Volunteers.
This workshop is perfect for those wanting to go that next step and perform before a live audience at the Story Jam in April.
Workshop is FREE to all. Pizza will be provided. Details and RSVP Info Here>>

SF RPCV Social - Borobudur
8/22/14 Fri (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
Borobudur Indonesian Restaurant
700 Post St, San Francisco
Contact:Daniel Marlay (dmarlay [at] yahoo [dot] com)
For our monthly SF RPCV gathering, this time around, we're getting together at Borobudur, an Indonesian restaurant near Union Square. http://www.borobudursf.com/
The last time we were here, we brought a huge crowd, and they asked us to order ahead of time, to keep it from taking forever. So check out the website, and include your order in your RSVP.
And yes, PLEASE RSVP, so we can get a headcount and dinner order. RSVP by emailing Daniel or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/694110460663889.
RPCV dinners are a good opportunity to meet other people, whether they returned last week or 50 years ago. Share your stories, meet new friends, hang out with old friends, and more. Anyone welcome; feel free to bring your friend, SO, mom, neighbor, whoever, so long as they don't mind listening to people speak in Peace Corps acronym. Come hear what else is going on with the NorCal PCA and how you can get involved.
We usually go out for drinks afterwards - likely Swig on Geary at Jones. Even if you can't make dinner, feel free to join us for drinks, likely around 9:30, or call to see where the crew is.
