Come join us for some summer fun! NorCalPCA's Annual Summer Picnic this year will be at the California Shakespeare Theater in Orinda!
Potluck picnic
All NorCalPCA members, family, friends, and supporters welcome!
Entry to the park is free for the potluck picnic!
If you will be participating in the potluck, please tell us what you are bringing here: goo.gl/Myx17C
(Please bring enough for yourself and at least a few other people, as well as drinks for yourself. NorCalPCA will provide disposable plates, cups, and silverware. Hot food will also be available for purchase on site from the theater cafe.)
Black Odyssey
Only 5 discounted play tickets left!
Join us for an optional play after the picnic at a steeply discounted price of $20 per person-- but only if you pre-order! The show is "Black Odyssey", a thrilling new play combining Greek mythology with African-American folklore in a new take on Homer’s classic. Tickets will be full price at the door (if still available) with individual seating apart from the group.
Children of all ages are welcome at the picnic; however, to minimize potential disruptions to the actors, the theater will not permit young children entry to view the play itself.
Free shuttle from Orinda BART
There is a free shuttle from the Orinda BART station and also parking on site, see calshakes.org for details.
Sale!
New NorCalPCA-branded merchandise (t-shirts, hats, and more!) and 2018 International Calendars will be on sale at the picnic (card, cash, or check)! One special NorCalPCA-branded backpack will also be up for raffle!
Party!
There will also be an optional after-picnic party in Orinda for those interested. Suggested locations will be provided at the picnic site.
