Registration for this event has passed

In support of Peace Corps' Third Goal - to help promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans- and to celebrate Peace Corps Week, our friend, Sac Valley RPCV, is hosting a film festival showcasing two-minute videos submitted by Volunteers and Returned Volunteers around the world.

The 2017 Peace Corps Week theme is Highlighting Hospitality: How Does Your Peace Corps Country Make People Feel Welcome? The purpose of this video challenge is for Peace Corps Volunteers to teach Americans about cultures through a two-minute video that captures traditions of hospitality and welcome in their host culture.

We're hosting the event at our local Public House Theater, so you can grab a drink, food, and watch some amazing videos!

Approximate Times:

  • 5-6:30 p.m. - Mingle, grab a drink and bite to eat
  • 6:30-7:15 p.m. - Show videos
  • 7:15pm on - Mingle and drink some more!

There is free street parking in this residential community on 55th Street and 14th Avenue. Entrance to the theater is on 55th Street through the yard.

Your RSVP through Eventbrite is important, as it helps us manage the event better and coordinate with Jackie, the owner of the pub.
