Treasure Island Flea and BBQ

Hi RPCVs! Lizzy and Raili (RPCVs Benin '13-'15) are hosting a BBQ on Treasure Island this Sunday, August 27! TI's monthly flea market is open so we thought people might want to explore the flea and then head over to our place.

The flea market opens at 10 am and is a $3 entry. If you're in Oakland you can bike or walk across the bridge which is pretty great. SF folks can take the 25 bus from transbay or drive (carpool?) or Lyft. There's also a surprisingly nice brunch spot on the island (Aracely Cafe).

We'll throw some goodies on the grill and have a potluck BBQ starting at 2ish. There's a small grocery on the island (the Cove), or you can bring something from the plethora of food trucks at the Flea, or bring whatever you want! But beware, the grocery store doesn't stock booze so come stocked with what you plan on drinking, or pick up a bottle of wine from one of TI's fine tasting rooms (http://www.7x7.com/walking-tour-the-scenic-wineries-of-treasure-island-2288773180.amp.html).
