First Annual Bowling Party

12/10/10 Fri (8:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Serra Bowl
3301 Junipero Serra Boulevard, Daly City
Contact:Will Spargur (cspargur87@gmail.com)

I grew up in St. Louis and played on a bowling league for most of my child-life. I bowled my first 100 at 8. One day, while jazzed on pepsi and hotdogs, I rolled 3 strikes in the 10th to break the 200 barrier – all before my twelfth birthday. In fact the only thing I loved as much as my Mom, the Cardinals and bubblegum ice-cream was bowling.

Friday December 10 will be the matchup of continents. Your pre-service training might not have included how to throw a hook ball or pickup a 7-10 split but don’t let that stop you. My skills have rusted, I no longer own a ball and can’t throw a hook to save my life - you will be in good company. Just come for the fun.

We will be bowling at Serra Bowl right next to the Colma BART – a short walk across the parking lot. Reserve this date on your calendars and RSVP ASAP to Will Spargur (cspargur87@gmail.com) so we can reserve multiple lanes next to each other for our mini tournament. If you want to drive, we are also arranging carpools. Let me know if you need a ride or can offer one. There’s plenty of parking.
