Returned Peace Corps Volunteers from around Northern California will team up with the Ohlone Elementary School Global Awareness team to celebrate, learn and share experiences from over 100 countries at our Annual Festival of Cultures. Meet Molly Melching who started her Peace Corps service in Senegal in 1976 and remained in West Africa ever since to successfully empower women in villages throughout Senegal and beyond to commit themselves to eliminate female genital circumcision. She was the PC Volunteer of the year several years ago, and she was awarded the Hilton Award for $1,000,000
