Benefit for Benin

6/1/13 Sat (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Vinyl Wine Bar
359 Divisadero St, San Francisco
Contact:Erin Bowman (erinbowmanrpcv[at]gmail.com)

Over the past decade, the non-profit Enagnon Dandan (It Must Work!) has been working with Peace Corps Volunteers to improve health, education, and commerce in rural Beninese communities. They've built a health center and classrooms, planted protein-rich moringa trees, and bridged relationships between ethnic groups.

Erin Bowman (Benin 04-06) has organized a benefit for Enagnon Dandan a Vinyl Wine Bar where they are donating a portion of bar sales from the event. Come enjoy Afrofunk, Motown, and soul music played by DJ Vin Sol (whoa!!), DJ Malachi (of MOM!!!!!), and DJ Debbie D.D while enjoying the company of RPCVs and supporting the work of Enagnon Dandan. There will also be a silent auction with seriously great stuff!!

Ways to help.
1. Show up
2. Bring school, art, or medical supplies you'd like to donate to the school and health center.
3. Donate a craft, service, or special something you want to donate to the silent auction
