RPCV Movie: Back to Yarasquin
8/1/13 Thu (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
2700 Saratoga Street , Alameda
Contact:Lowell Powell (lcpowell[at]yahoo[dot]com)
The Way Back to Yarasquin is a short documentary about my wife's efforts to import coffee from her home town in Honduras, the town where I was a Peace Corps volunteer. See attached link for a description of the movie, a trailer of the movie, and ticket information. http://www.yarasquinthemovie.com/
This has been a really cool project for our family and it has brought back all the great memories of my own Peace Corps days. I think the movie will take other RPCVs back to their days in the Peace Corps and maybe inspire a few to start their own project from the States.
