2714 McGee Ave, Berkeley
Contact:Kathy Day (kathryn[at]berkeley.edu)

Please join us on Saturday, April 26 for National Rebuilding Together Day. We are in need of up to 15 volunteers for our project. We will be working at the home of Charles, a 77 year old retired veteran, and his wife Kikuko, age 75. They enjoy their garden and utilizing their backyard, which has become cluttered with debris and overgrown vegetation. Work will be done on creating safe access by helping to clear and clean the area.

The project is located at 2714 McGee Ave. in Berkeley.

Depending on the number of volunteers we can gather, the work day will run from approximately 8am - ??. Lunch will be provided whether we wrap early, or end up putting in a full day. Many hands will make light work, so please join us.

All volunteers should:
-Wear sturdy shoes
-Bring gardening gloves if available
-Wear clothing that can get dirty (long sleeves recommended)
-Bring a reusable water bottle so we don’t all use plastic ones
-HAVE FUN!
