Bay to Breakers is the annual San Francisco tradition. Folks walk or run the width of San Francisco in a huge street party. Once the race is done, it's time to barbecue! Daniel lives near Alamo Square, which is about the halfway point of the race. If you want to just watch, he'll be in the park from about 10:30-12. The race usually passes the park by 12, and then we can head back to Daniel's place to fire up the grill. Please RSVP if you are coming, so we know how much food to prepare. Suggested donation of $10, to cover food cost, and extra cash on top of that supports the NorCal PCA Grants Fund.
NorCal will also organize a walk team to do Bay to Breakers. Host country gear highly recommended. Stay tuned for walk info.
Don't want to walk? Meet up in the park to watch, or just come by sometime in the afternoon.
Walking, but don't feel like going all the way to Ocean Beach? Feel free to bail at Alamo Square.
Walking/running the whole thing? You rule! Hop on the bus back. If you're taking the N Judah, the closest stop is Duboce Park. Walking the whole thing?
RSVP by emailing Daniel or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/265903120259305.
