Trail Fixing at Point Reyes National Seashore

01 Oct 2016
9:00am - 2:00pm PDT

Join NorCalPCA and the National Parks Service in one of NorCalPCA’s longest running traditions of service. This biannual event (April and October of every year) is one of our most popular service events where you can enjoy the company of RPCVs of all ages fixing trails at one of America’s most scenic seashores and enjoy a BBQ at day’s end.

Tracy Neal (Slovakia 1997-1999) will be helping coordinate the event. RSVPs are needed as this event does fill up completely. Please send your RSVP to Tracy.

Meet at the Bear Valley Visitor Center parking area restrooms, near Sir Francis Drake Blvd and Hwy 1 in Olema. If you are using Google Maps, put in "Bear Valley Visitor Center, 1 Bear Valley Rd, Point Reyes Station, CA 94956." You will see the large gravel parking area on the left as you go down the Bear Valley Visitor Center Access Road. This is also near the picnic area where the end of day picnic/BBQ will be. Everyone is welcome to the picnic even if you can't make the service part. Gloves, work shirts and tools provided. Please bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and a snack for the work part.

We will be having a picnic when the work is through. NorCalPCA will provide a main dish item. Please bring drinks for yourself and something to share at the picnic.
